Let op! Douchen verplicht

Beste bezoekers, vakantieperiodes zijn doorgaans voor het zwembad drukkere periodes. Door veelvuldig gebruik van het zwemwater ontstaat dan ook vervuiling. Deze vervuiling ontstaat grotendeels door het dragen van kleding die niet specifiek bestemt is als zwemkleding en het niet douchen alvorens men gebruik maakt van de zwembaden. Om deze vervuiling tegen te gaan zullen onze medewerkers erop toezien dat u als bezoeker de juiste zwemkleding draagt en gebruik maakt van de douche alvorens u het zwembad betreed. Douchen is dus verplicht! . Alle kleding anders dan zwemkleding is niet toegestaan, net als het dragen van ondergoed onder de zwemkleding. Indien u de verkeerde kleding draagt wordt u in de gelegenheid gesteld om deze aan te passen. Mocht u hier niet aan kunnen voldoen dan zal u de toegang tot het zwembad worden ontzegd. Activiteitendag 2012

Op 17 maart 2012 organiseert zwembad De IJzeren Man van 13.00-16.00 uur een activiteitendag. Op deze dag kunt u als bezoeker na betaling van de entree gratis deelnemen aan verschillende activiteiten. Voor een overzicht van de activiteiten klik hier Naast deelname aan de activiteiten kunt u ook uw gezondheid testen met de IZA fitzuil. De zuil is een verplaatsbare gezondheidskiosk die het lichaamsgewicht weegt, de body mass index (BMI) berekent en de systolische en diastolische bloeddruk en hartslag controleert.

Zwemsportdag 2012

Op 14 april 2012 organiseert Zwembad De IJzeren Man Weert een zwemsportdag voor mensen met een lichamelijke en verstandelijke beperking. Tijdens deze dag worden er zowel in het 25 meterbad als ook in het golfslagbad op verschillende tijdstippen activiteiten georganiseerd.
